Course Overview

The entire world is struggling to reduce losses and improve equipment efficiency. The concept of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) is a helpful methodology being followed globally andapplies to almost all manufacturing and process industries.

If the plant equipment efficiency is lower than industry standards or benchmarks, then thatresults in higher manufacturing conversion costs. However, based on data analysis andcorrective actions, losses can be reduced, and plant efficiency can be improved.

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to identify equipment-relatedlosses with respect to availability, performance efficiency, and quality rate, understand OEEcalculation methodology, quantify losses accurately, analyze OEE to identify focus areas forimprovement, and understand methods for improving OEEk so that you can use the information you get to make changes for the better.
