Course Overview

Every person deserves the freedom to live a healthy, happy, and secure life. However, the society we live in today often makes it difficult for marginalized groups – people living in poverty, Black people, Indigenous people, people of color, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people living with disabilities, for example – to flourish.

While the situation can feel overwhelming, we all share the responsibility of fixing what’s broken in our world. In this course, you’ll find out how you can help.

First, you’ll learn how to answer the call for change, research an issue, and set goals. Then, you’ll get specific strategies for driving social change, both individually and through collective action.
